The Brown Bear lives in the mountains in Rodopi and Pindos. It eats grass, roots, ants and fish. It weighs 250 kilos. Mating takes place from early May to the middle of July and the young cubs are born from about January to March.

The Golden Jackal lives in the forest. It gives birth to 3-6 babies. It is big and it is white and black. It eats plants and fruit. Its main danger is the destruction of the forest!
