Our favourite wild animal is the Grey Wolf. The Grey Wolf, or common wolf, lives in the mountains of Pindos. It eats wild pigs, deer, wild goats, sheep, cows and rabbits. The wolf runs fast and it is a clever animal. It weighs 40 kilos. Its main threat is that the farmers kill the wolves.

The wolf lives in the forest. It is like a big dog. The wolf eats rabbits, sheep, chickens and small animals. It has babies. It usually gives birth to 5 – 6 babies every winter in Greece. There is a small number of wolves because people kill them. The dangers for the wolf are people who sometimes kill them because they sometimes attack humans. We can help the wolves by protecting them and leaving them alone.
Don’t … kill them. Do … leave them alone.
catch their babies. protect them.
go close.
